‍ ‍

I am Sandra Lozano-Calderon, a Colombian cellist and educator with an international background, holding a Master’s degree in Neuropsychology and Education. My work bridges science and art, exploring how music nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.

I believe meaningful learning happens when people feel seen, respected, and supported in their unique ways of being. I love to learn, continually expand my knowledge, and bring fresh insights into my lessons—sharing discoveries so that each student grows not only as a musician but as a whole human being.

I studied at the Conservatory of Music of the National University and Los Andes University in Bogotá. I earned my music degree at Juan N. Corpas University. My passion for teaching led me to specialize in the Suzuki Method, which emphasizes learning with joy, discipline, and community. Over the years, I have taught at major Colombian universities and national programs, contributed to social initiatives, and founded a cello studio in Hong Kong.
